Giving Tuesday is a global movement unleashing the power of people and organizations to transform their communities and the world.

Last year, on Giving Tuesday, thanks to all of you, we were able to raise a total of $11,000 in just one day to help support our patients and their families.  This year we would like to surpass this goal and raise even more and we know with your help, we can do just that.

 

The Best Centre has seen an unprecedented amount of growth over this past year!  We need to raise enough money to provide us with the ability to give support to not only our active patients, but to the many newly diagnosed paediatric patients we have taken on. This support includes initial intensive nursing and dietitian appointments upon diagnosis, sick day counselling, training on insulin injections and finger pokes and interpretation of blood sugar data. All of which is a necessary component for someone who’s lives literally will depend on this critical training immediately.  To put it into perspective, here are the words from just one of our patient’s mothers when her daughter was diagnosed with type 1.
